In the final part of their 2011 #YearInReview, Twitter has charted the top Tweets Per Second (TPS) moments of 2011.The biggest spike on Twitter this year came during Beyonce’s pregnancy announcement at the MTV Video Music Awards back in August, when the all-time record of 8,868 TPS was established. Other peaks this year included the resignation (and later, death) of Steve Jobs, the execution of Troy Davis, New Year’s Day and raid on Osama Bin Laden.
